WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Any healthy person age 18-65
can become a kidney donor.

Someone with blood type O or
B would be ideal, although
someone with another blood
type can still help Jeff through
a

UPDATE: TRANSPLANT COMPLETED
Jeff underwent transplant surgery Oct. 22 at Tampa General Hospital. The
kidney came from an anonymous deceased donor, the surgery was
successful and he was discharged from the hospital five days later. The new
kidney is functioning well. Jeff is feeling good and is able to walk and eat.
Jeff thanks everyone who supported him and helped look for a donor over
the past few years. He would like to pass along the following message:
He is staying in the Tampa area for the winter.
I have some wonderful news.

I recently underwent a kidney
transplant and I’m recovering
nicely. Thank you for your support
and best wishes. Your
encouragement really inspired me
and helped me continue my
prolonged search for a donor. I
appreciate it greatly.

I now have a new kidney and it’s
an absolute miracle. Thanks again
for your help.

Best wishes,

Jeffrey
